West Bountiful Municipal Election – 2023: The City of West Bountiful will hold a Municipal Election on Tuesday November 21, 2023 to fill three (3) city council seats. Terms will run for four (4) years each – January 2024 through December 2027. Five candidates have declared their candidacy: Jenn Nielsen, Richmond Thornley, Rodney Wood, James Ahlstrom, Dell Butterfield. A primary election is not needed. An opportunity to meet the candidates and hear their views on issues will be provided at Meet the Candidates Night on Monday, October 16, 2023 at City Hall. A meet & greet session will be held at 6:30 pm with Q & A’s following at 7 pm. This event is sponsored by the League of Women Voters and will be assisted by the West Bountiful Youth City Council.
