CROSSING GUARD - WEST BOUNTIFUL CITY

The West Bountiful Police Department is currently hiring a crossing guard position.
Essential Functions: Responsible individual needed to cross children to and from school under the supervision of the West Bountiful Police Department.
Compensation: $15.00 per hour, approximately 2 hours per day
Hours: Must be available Monday through Friday, mornings, and afternoons during school hours, approximately two hours a day, up to five days a week.
Requirements:
Must provide own transportation to and from job sites. Must be physically able to:
- Prepare school crossing zone using required
- Cross children safely while watching
- Remove crossing equipment (process is repeated two times a day)
- Travel to and from different locations throughout the city.
Criminal History: Must be able to pass a State and Local background check successfully

SEASONAL PARK WORKERS - WEST BOUNTIFUL CITY
West Bountiful City is hiring Seasonal Park Workers to perform a wide variety of manual labor and semi-skilled activities in connection with the maintenance of the City’s parks and trails. Employment will include golf course privileges.
Salary Range
- Generally $14.00 to $16.00 per hour, depending on experience;
- Will work approximately 40 hours per week, seasonal, April - September.
Essential duties and responsibilities
- Manual labor including, but not limited to, digging trenches, cutting and laying sod, raking leaves, cleaning and keeping restrooms supplied;
- Operating lawn mowers, weed whips and other equipment;

- Must have a valid driver’s license;
- Be in good physical condition, able to regularly lift 50 pounds;
